Engr. Chief Perry
Awe was born into the Attemoru Family of Agbajogun Amuro in the year 1955.
After his primary school education at the KDEA primary school, Effo Amuro, he proceeded for his secondary education at the AAAMC okene in 1970 -1974, higher school education at the school of basic studies Kwaratech Ilorin in 1974-1976 and his University education at University of Lagos, Akoka Lagos where he bagged a B.Sc degree in Chemical Engineering in 1980.
He was posted for his National Service (NYSC) to the Leather Research Institute Maiduguri as Assistant Technologist after which he seamlessly secured a full time employment with the NNPC Kaduna Refinery in 1981.
He rose through the ranks of Engineer-2 to become a full fledged Manager in 2007. Amongst other top positions held are, Manager, Commercial Services TELECOM-ITD NNPC, Manager, Engineering and Technical Services, Kaduna Refinery and finally as Manager, production processes at same Kaduna Refinery before his statutory retirement from service in 2015.
Engr. Perry Awe attended several professional and management courses both local and overseas. He was in Japan in 1985 for a production process course, revisited Japan in 1990 for joint studies in refining operations, he also attended NNPC management development program in 2001 before proceeding to Russia in 2005 to source for appropriate alternative crude oil for Lubricant production, and then to UK for Advanced Oil and Gas Project Management workshop in 2007. He revisited UK in 2013 for
Advanced Refining Operations and Economics and finally in 2014 led a project team to Bombay India for Tankage reconstruction project.
Engr. Perry Awe (FNSE) is a devout Community Leader, with enviable track records in the general welfare, health, educational, Infrastructural and cultural development of his people, no wonder he was honoured as torch bearer of his community with the chieftaincy title of ASIWAJU OF AGBAJOGUN.
Engineer Perry Awe has already signified his intention to vie for the Yagba Federal Constituency under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party and not a few have reasons to doubt the ability of this technocrat turn politii to clinch his party’s ticket and to go on to the National Assembly.
