The Kaduna state High Court has discharged and acquitted about 100 members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria facing charges of culpable homicide since the clampdown on the Movement by the Nigerian Army in December 2014.
This followed a ‘No Case Submission’ by the Counsel representing the Movement Barr Maxwell Kyon
“The Kaduna state High court today Tuesday 31st July, 2015 ruled in our favor on the “No Case Submission” entered by the defense lawyers in the case against about 100 members of the Islamic Movement facing charges of culpable homicide since the brutal December 2015 Zaria massacre.
They have been discharged and acquitted” the Movement stated on its blog Reflection online.
