Osinbajo, Oshiomhole to storm Kano as Shekarau joins APC

Information available to us revealed that the Vice President Prof. Yemi Osibanjo and the National Chairman, All Progressive Congress (APC), Adam Oshiomhole would visit former minister of Education Mal. Ibrahim Shekarau at his Kano residence any moment from now.

The source revealed that the top APC members would be in Kano to woo and conclude plans on how to receive the former minister and his supporters who rejected the sudden dissolution of the state’s PDP executive by the national body and constituted a care taker committee to run the affairs of the party in the state.

It would be recalled that Kano, woke up on Tuesday with rumors that Shekarau had defected from the People Democratic Party a rumor he debunked but said that, he’s still making consultations with necessary stakeholders on the next line of action to take.

The Mundubawa residence of the former Minister is observed to be busy with presence of personalities as the source further revealed that Shekarau has been in meetings with notable persons since the beginning of the week.

Crisis started in the state’s PDP since Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso defected from the APC and returned to the Former, as members and supporters of the Shekaru and Wali raised an alarm over move to hijack and hand over the party to Kwankwaso with the recent dissolution of the state executive which resulted to face of between the National body and those at the state level.

In also a related development, Shekarau is said to make his position public on Saturday.

He will join the ruling All Progressive Congress on Saturday in a planned mega event along with his supporters.

Meanwhile all arrangements have said to have been concluded.
